Testimonials
What follows are reflections from audiences, clients, and collaborators who have experienced my speaking and one-on-one work. Their words speak to the impact of the journey, and I am honoured to share them.
"Elmi doesn't just tell stories; he holds space for them. When he spoke at our festival, the room went completely silent. He has a rare gift — he makes you feel the humanity behind the headline."
— David Mensah, Director, Diaspora Film Festival
Working with Narrative Nomad was a masterclass. He finds the thread of humanity in the most complex stories and weaves it with such care. His passion for people is in every frame, every interview, every edit."
— James Whitaker, Producer & Cinematographer
"I was nervous to share my story on camera. Elmi made me feel safe, seen, and respected. He didn't just want my pain; he wanted my whole truth. That is the mark of a true documentarian."
— Amira H., Documentary Participant, The Road Home
"We hired Abdulrahim to document our community project. What he delivered was far more than a film — it was a living archive of dignity and resilience. Our partners still talk about it. It moved donors to action."
— Sarah Thompson, Program Lead, Reconnect Africa Initiative
