In late 2024, I documented the stories of young Africans detained in Libya as they risked everything to reach Europe. This documentary highlights the dangers and the long, harrowing journey young refugees endure from Niger to Libya.
Hope Behind Bars will be screened in Mogadishu, Dar es Salaam, and Hargeisa starting in early October 2026.
